| WHO WE ARE |
The Legal Hotline provides simple legal advice over the telephone to poor and low-income New York City residents on civil legal issues, such as divorce and family law matters, landlord-tenant disputes and consumer law problems. The Legal Hotline also provides referrals to the City Bar Justice Center's Consumer Bankruptcy Project. The Legal Hotline is open daily from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Tuesday & Thursday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

La línea legal directa provee asesoramiento jurídico sencillo través del teléfono a los residentes pobres y de bajos ingresos en la ciudad de Nueva York sobre temas legales civiles, como el divorcio y cuestiones de derecho de familia, propietario-inquilino controversias y problemas jurídicos de los consumidores.
