Bedford-Stuyvesant Community Legal Services Corporation - Unemployment Insurance Advocacy Project
The Unemployment Insurance Advocacy Project provides legal advice and representation to unemployed workers seeking unemployment insurance (UI) benefits. UI is a critical source of income support to unempoyed workers providing eligible workers with up to $405 a week for up to 26 weeks. To be eligible for UI a worker must have lost her job due to no fault of her own.
